About
The Man Behind the Lens
Photographer, storyteller, and traveler — capturing the moments that deserve to outlive the day itself.

As an LGBTQIA person, inclusion isn't a policy for me — it's personal. I want to offer the LGBTQIA community of North Alabama a safe place where your relationship and your love can be preserved, exactly as they are. Here, you never have to explain yourselves, edit yourselves, or wonder whether you belong. You do — and I'd be honored to tell your story.
I didn't pick up a camera to make pictures. I picked it up because some moments refuse to wait — a father's face as he sees his daughter in her dress, two hands trembling through a ring exchange, the laughter that breaks out mid-vow. Those seconds exist once. My job is to make sure they last forever - for anyone.
Before photography, there was nursing. I've spent years working as an ICU nurse, a job that taught me to be steady and present in the most tender, unscripted moments of people's lives — a steadiness that shows up in everything I shoot. Photography found me while I was living in Los Angeles, and it quickly became a healthy creative outlet: something that balanced a career built around hard days with something that makes me feel alive.
I've been married to my husband for over 20 years, so I know from the inside what it takes to build a life — and a love story — worth documenting. Now that I've moved back home to Alabama, I'm starting my photography work here, bringing everything those years taught me back to the place that raised me.
My style is bold and editorial: dramatic light, deep shadows, honest emotion. I'm not interested in stiff poses or forced smiles. I direct just enough to make you look your best, then step back and let the real moments unfold — because those are the images you'll actually frame.
I'm a traveling photographer by design. Whether your wedding is on a beach at sunrise, in a grand old church, or somewhere far from home, I go where the story is. No two love stories look alike, so no two galleries I deliver ever should.
Philosophy
How I Work
Story Over Stiffness
Your gallery should read like the day actually felt — unscripted, emotional, and unmistakably yours.
Light Is Everything
I chase dramatic, cinematic light. It's the difference between a snapshot and an image that stops people mid-scroll.
You, Unposed
A little direction up front, then I blend in. The best photographs happen when you forget the camera is there.
Every Detail Matters
The rings, the letter, the empty chair. The small things become the big things in twenty years — I shoot them like it.
Travel
Where the Story Goes, I Follow
Weddings don't happen in one zip code, and neither do I. I regularly travel for weddings, engagements, and elopements — from oceanfront ceremonies to historic chapels to wide-open fields. If your venue is far from home, let's talk; travel coverage is built into how I work, and destination bookings are one of my favorite ways to shoot.
